Questions & Answers

What are WFPS and what are they used for?

WFPS stands for water-fed pole systems. They are used for cleaning windows at higher heights without the need for ladders and/or scaffolding.

How do WFPS work?

The poles are telescopic and can reach heights of 15 meters (5 storeys). Pure water is pumped through jets in the brush at the top of the pole, where it is sprayed onto the glass. Any dirt or dust particles are flushed away by the constant stream of pure water.

What is Reverse Osmosis?

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is the finest filtration available. It works by the process of removing contaminants from water by pushing the water through a semi-permeable membrane.

Why does the glass stay cleaner for longer?

  1. Because of the use of pure water, over a period of time, the frames gradually get cleaner leaving little or no dirt for the rain to wash down on the glass.
  2. WFPS washes effectively without the use of detergents. Therefore there is no detergent residue on the glass to attract dirt.

Why can’t I use normal tap water to wash windows?

  1. You can use tap water together with a detergent, however if you use tap water only to clean the windows, the glass will appear milky white and streaky when it dries. This effect on the glass is due entirely to the mineral content of the tap water.
  2. Pure water allows for spot-free cleaning. The tap water must be processed through a reverse-osmosis unit to remove all impurities before being used to clean windows.

Is there a call out fee for quotations?

No, all quotations are free of charge.

Will there be an increase in my water bill?

Is the WFPS used for internal cleaning?

Is it beneficial to clean my solar panels regularly?

How often should I clean my windows?
